Salaah Timetable MAY 2024

Dear youngsters and youth!

We welcome you to the Islamic Centre Scotstoun (Masjid Umar), a hub for the Muslim community in Glasgow, Scotland.

As young Muslims, it is essential to connect with the Masjid, our spiritual home, which provides us with guidance, support, and a sense of belonging. The Masjid is a place where we can:

  • Strengthen our faith
  • Seek knowledge
  • Engage in acts of worship, such as daily prayers, Taraweeh, and Jummah prayers

As the future leaders of the Muslim community, it is our responsibility to ensure that we are actively involved in the Masjid and contributing to its growth and development.

Let us strive to:

  • Connect with our Masjid
  • Establish a deep connection with Allah (SWT)
  • Seek the rewards of the hereafter

Remember, “The Masjid is the house of Allah (SWT) on earth, and those who visit it are the guests of Allah (SWT).” (Sahih Muslim).

So, let us strive to visit the Masjid, gain Allah’s (SWT) blessings, and make the Masjid a vibrant and active place for our community.

We look forward to seeing you at the Islamic Centre Scotstoun (Masjid Umar)!
